How can I become a member?

SINCE WE ARE OFFERING A PRIVATE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE WITH ONLY ONE SERVICE PER MEMBER AND THEIR GUESTS PER day, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT A LIMITED NUMBER OF MEMBERS. How does quarterly billing work?

We bill the price of one (1) event at the start of each fiscal quarter – on May 1, August 1, November 1 and February 1. When a Member books their first event during the quarter, the quarterly payment is applied to the cost of the event. Should a Member book additional events during the quarter, those events are billed for upon reserving the event. Once total event billings reach four (4), quarterly billings cease and a Member is billed for following events upon reserving the event.

How many guests may I have in my party?

Our member events are priced for parties of up to 16 guests. We are able to accomodate additional guests upon request up to a maximum of 28 Guests. WANT Haiku TO SERVE JUST YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE FOR A SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY? WE CAN DO THAT. WANT TO BRING JUST ANOTHER COUPLE TO CELEBRATE YOUR FRIENDSHIP? WE CAN DO THAT. WANT TO GET ENGAGED IN FRONT OF YOUR DEAREST LOVED ONES? WE CAN DO THAT. ALL THE WAY UP TO A FULL PARTY OF 16. YOUR CHOICE.    

Do I need to supply a credit card to confirm my membership and/or reservation?

YES.  YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED TO CONFIRM YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND SECURED FOR FUTURE RESERVATIONS, INCLUDING ANY APPLICABLE TAXES AND SERVICE CHARGES.  

What does Haiku’s experiences associate do?

WE BELIEVE THE DINING EXPERIENCE OF OUR GUESTS STARTS AT THE RESERVATION. YOUR Experiences associate WILL ASSIST IN booking YOUR RESERVATIONS AND work with you and the haiku team to curate a truly customized experience.

Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

We are. SHOULD YOU OR YOUR GUEST(S) HAVE ANY DIETARY RESTRICTIONS or allergies please provide these details to the Experiences Associate upon reservation or during the planning of the event.  Our chefs appreciate advance notice of such needs in order to create a harmoniouls culinary experience for all the guests.

What if the date I want to reserve is already taken?

If I’m unable to make my reservation, am I able to reschedule?

WE UNDERSTAND THAT LAST-MINUTE CHANGES CAN OCCUR AND WILL ALWAYS TRY OUR BEST TO FIND A SOLUTION. Please see our Terms and Conditions for our cancellation policy.

What are “pop-up” dates?

AS A MEMBER, YOU HAVE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO SPECIAL DATES, IN WHICH WE SHOWCASE THE HAIKU TEAM COLLABORATING WITH CHEFS AND SOMMELIERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE. THESE EVENTS ARE MEANT TO PROVIDE UNIQUE EXPERIENCES TO OUR MEMBERS AND ARE A VERY INTEGRAL PART OF HAIKU’S DNA.

Are you able to accommodate children?

AT HAIKU, OUR MENUS ARE CREATED SO THAT OUR MEMBERS AND EVERYONE IN THEIR GROUP CAN EXPERIENCE THE PROGRESSION OF DISHES TOGETHER. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU HAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE UNABLE TO PARTAKE IN THAT COHESIVE EXPERIENCE, PLEASE SPEAK TO OUR Experiences associate to arrange for a special menu of their favorite dishes.

How often do your menus change?

IN THE SPIRIT OF KAISEKI inspired omakase DINING, OUR MENUS CHANGE WITH THE SEASONS AND AT THE DISCRETION OF OUR CULINARY TEAM. Our objective is for our Members to continually experience the evolution and innovation of our chefs and therefore never have the same dish twice unless specifically requested.

Do you offer Transportation?

YES, WE can COORDINATE LUXURY TRANSPORTATION TO ACCOMMODATE A PARTY THROUGH OUR PREFERRED TRANSPORTATION COMPANY.

WHAT IS KAISEKI-Inspired cuisine?

KAISEKI IS A TRADITIONAL MULTI-COURSE JAPANESE meal and requires a COLLECTION OF SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES IN its PREPARATION, MUCH LIKE WESTERN HAUTE CUISINE. TODAY, KAISEKI IS AN ART FORM THAT BALANCES THE TASTE, TEXTURE, APPEARANCE, AND COLOR OF FOOD. FRESH SEASONAL INGREDIENTS ARE carefully sourced, PREPARED IN WAYS THAT ENHANCE FLAVOR, and PRESENTED ON PLATES THAT ARE CHOSEN TO intensify BOTH THE APPEARANCE AND THE SEASONAL THEME OF THE MEAL. THE MENU IS A HARMONIOUS PROGRESSION OF DISHES. our chefs are inspired by this centuries-old japanese culinary art form, drawing their creative energy from its dna while humbly offering their own unique perspective. Hence, “kaiseki-Inspired” is how we choose to describe our culinary vision.
